Depicting one of the teleportals of Atlan-tis, this fine art canvas painting(40X52) was done in acrylics, metallics, gold leaf, and Swarovski crystals. One of a pair, "Blue Stargate" has already been sold and lives in a private collection amongst master works including Dali, Miro, Picasso, Britto, and Chihuly. The figure retains the Yoga "child's pose" in preparation for his journey. Alchemical symbols are carved onto the gate, giving instructions on how to prepare, as well as information about targeting one's destination.

This piece is one in a series of my own interpretation of the divinatory "Tarot" cards. The 'Hanged Man' is one of the major arcana, representing initiation, suspension in affairs, and sacrifice of old modes of thinking in favor of the new. My representation reflects a love of the ocean, philosophical beliefs, and spiritual perspective.
